Urban town

After travelling the world as a hotelier, Robert discovered Béziers by coincidence. He immediately fell for this urban town and charming region and decided to create a new home with his partner. They fell in love with Villa Kumquats, an elegant manor house from 1890 with a garden, situated between the Arena and town centre. In only seven months, the abandoned villa underwent a huge head to toe make-over.

King or queen

And now, Villa Kumquats houses four tastefully decorated double bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. Every room has its own unique theme, reflecting the interests of the owners or the history of the town. For example, the Rachmaninov room, which feels like a cocoon and has a tranquil view of the garden. Chéri and I were in the Toro room, where the expressive wall art is a nod to Béziers Arena. The set-up of all the rooms is spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and you will feel like a king or queen staying here.
